Please save them so that you have them ready at the event (e.g. as an entry in your digital diary).&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have not received a link the day before the event, please contact the organizer and ask.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Share the link to the video call <\/span><b>not<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, unless they are asked to do so. Any person who has the link can participate (and potentially disrupt).&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please enter your real name when entering the video conference.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We recommend the video conference room ca.  <\/span><b>20-30 minutes before the start<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  to enter the event. So you can still test your webcam and microphone.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a one-time test before the event, we ask all participants and speakers to mute themselves or their microphone. <\/span><b>mute<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Also, turn off your mic when someone is giving a long speech. In this way, we reduce noise that could otherwise add up with many participants.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please use a headset whenever possible <\/span><b>headset<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">whenever possible to avoid feedback.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If possible, close all other windows and programs that make noise while you are participating in the video conference (e.g. Slack \/ Outlook). In particular, refrain from still watching the livestream in the background. Otherwise, echo effects will occur.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only one (!) microphone may be switched on per location at any time, otherwise feedback will occur. If you want to participate in pairs, please use two rooms that are acoustically separated (e.g. by a door).&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With video call apps like ZOOM, Google Meet, or MS Teams, chat messages may be visible in the livestream. Use them only when absolutely necessary.
