The background is that we are constantly working on optimizing our audio setup. In the sound workshop, sound engineer Jeffray Schwabe from „Professional Audio Solutions“ gave us tips and tricks.
On which radio benches should the microphones be scheduled? How to improve the sound of certain types of microphones? How can we use our digital mixing console even better and, above all, more easily to quickly control the sound for both the speakers on site and in the video call and live stream simultaneously, even in dramatic situations?
That was a lot of input within a few hours. But the best thing is that our technicians now have a preset for our mixers that they can load with one click. This will save us time in the future and give us more capacity to support our speakers!
